Jesmonite Decorative Tray & Peony Scented Candle Workshop in Rioz

Treat yourself to a creative evening in Rioz, at the L’Instant d’une Pause boutique, and leave with two creations entirely made by you.

For 2 hours, you will discover two different craft worlds: Jesmonite and the making of a scented molded candle. You will create a personalized decorative tray and a peony-shaped candle, in a friendly atmosphere with some savory treats and a drink.

This workshop is designed as a true creative interlude: taking the time to manipulate materials, choose colors and scents, discover different techniques, and leave with two objects you made yourself.

What you will create

For 2 hours, I will guide you step-by-step through each stage of making your Jesmonite tray and your scented peony candle.

On the agenda:

• Preparation and mixing of Jesmonite
• Choice of pigments and personalization of your creation
• Addition of decorative elements directly into the mold
• Pouring of Jesmonite
• Demolding and finishing of the tray
• Application of a protective varnish
• Discovery of different fragrances
• Preparation of wax and fragrance
• Pouring of wax into the peony mold
• Demolding of your scented candle
• Some savory treats and a drink

At the end of the workshop, you will leave with your two creations: your Jesmonite decorative tray and your scented peony candle, ready to find their place in your home or to be given as gifts.
